A taste of things to come?
Word is that NBC will distribute 150 million pairs of Monsters vs. Aliens branded 3D glasses in preparation for the 3D advertisement broadcast during the Superbowl on February 1st.

What is the reason 3D becomes so confusing and we can’t seem to settle on a real standard format. I have saved a bunch of so-called glasses, when of course they are colored plastic inserts and not glass. Never-the-less; I try some formats with one red lense on the right and blue on the left, and then again, some have blue on the right and red on the left; so Why? I know they are used to fool the brian, but which one is the correct ones to use when viewing TV? I have Poloroid, so when do they come into play?
I hate these hard paper frames too. They bend in what-ever direction the want to and hurt my ears because the cut-out is rough and won’t fit very well. Then I have great pair of Red/Right Blue/Left that do fit like real glasses I got when I purchased a 3D Software program for my DOS machine; some years ago. The problem is the hard plastic lenses are quite dark and I have to brighten up the TV to see 3D. Naturally, for the folks around me who do not have glasses, the brightness gives then a head ache, and me; I get brain stress.
